Gulf Coast Cheese Fest announces the dates to save and the parties to look forward to

Sarasota, FL. (July 6, 2011) – Save the dates for the newest festival in town. Gulf Coast Cheese Fest is preparing to be a local and out-of-towner favorite benefitting GWIZ. Co-Founders Tommy Klauber, owner of Polo Grill and Bar and Pattigeorges, and Molly Klauber, President of Go To Girl are thrilled to roll out fun filled daytime and nighttime events to bring out the biggest cheese fans in the area and gain more supporters for the chosen organization. Gulf Coast Cheese Fest is planning to become an annual ritual not to be missed. “We are psyched that so many people have contacted us to get involved. We are getting a great response on our Facebook and Twitter pages and we are looking forward to reaching out to as many people as possible ”, says Tommy Klauber. SRQ Magazine is officially the Gulf Coast Cheese Fest media sponsor. The Naked Florist will be the exclusive event designer. Gulf Coast Cheese fest will be hosting several events which all plan to conquer the guests cheese cravings: November 10, 2011 - “All About the Blues” a blue cheese and blues music themed charity bartending night at Polo Grill and Bar from 5:00-8:00pm. Admission is complimentary. All tips collected during the party will benefit the festival and GWIZ. March 30, 2012 - “La Fête du Fromage” a four course interactive dinner with Tommy Klauber and a special guest chef. Attendees will feast on a delicious menu, which they will prepare at their own tables of 8-10 guests. This event will be held in the ballroom at Polo Grill and Bar. April 28, 2012 – “The Grand Cheese Tasting” GWIZ will be flowing with booths from top vendors. Vendors will provide food items, wine pairings, and many gourmet artisan cheeses from all around the world. The festival will be from 11:00am-3:00pm. Two special seminars will be offered in addition to “The Grand Cheese Tasting” at 10:00am and 2:00pm, space will be limited. “The Cheese Ball” a modest or creatively attired event held in the ballroom at Polo Grill and Bar at 7:00pm. Guests will enjoy food stations, passed hors’ d oeuvres, a full bar and entertainment. Sponsorship opportunities range from $500-$5,000. In-kind donations are graciously accepted for the festival. The mission of GWIZ is to be the gateway for lifelong adventures in science. But, the real agenda is to ignite imaginations… to show that the world around us is amazing, breathtaking and full of unanswered questions. GWIZ operates a 33,000 sq ft center, interactive gallery, critter habitat and Fab Lab. In addition they offer year-round programming for residents, school groups, community groups and tourists.
